Spring 2013 is upon us, and you know what that means - Ohio Hip Hop Awards nomination season is just around the corner! Although we accept submissions all year round, at this time of year when the weather breaks, they really start to pour in. The official launch of our nomination season, where you - the people - get to tell us who you feel deserves a 2013 nomination - begins May 30th, right here on our official site. As always, we will have the various categories listed, and you get to fill in the blanks on who you think needs to make the final ballot. This is a BIG piece of the puzzle that determines the final nominations, so we need your input. Get ready to let your voices be heard! May 30th is also when our 1st official press conference of the season takes place, and we'll have lots of exciting details about this year's festivities. The press conference broadcasts live right here on our site @ 7pm EST, so be sure to tune in & check it out. 

Also, the inquiries and anticipation for our 2013 Summer Showcase Tour is at an all time high! We appreciate everyone who is eager to sign up and lock in their slots on the tour. As it was last year, the tour will take place during each weekend of June, and we'll be hitting Akron (6/6) Cleveland (6/8) Columbus (6/14) Dayton (6/15) Cincinnati (6/16) Sandusky (6/21) Mentor (6/22) & Youngstown (6/28). All the dates and venues for each city have been confirmed. You know the drill - the top 5 scores from the tour win a performance slot @ the 2013 Ohio Hip Hop Awards main event, and get to benefit from all of the marketing and promotion that comes along with it.
